Bath Pony Club

Bath Pony Club was started in 1964—so they are celebrating their 60th Anniversary in 2024—by the Lauray Hunt founded by Raymond Firestone. Although the hunt has been disbanded, the tradition has remained. Our club hosts several events every year to maintain our 200 acre facility, which is owned by Medina County Parks. Our facility has an all weather conditioning track, Show Jump ring, Dressage rings and full Cross Country courses through Training Level. We also have stabling on grounds for events and Pony Club use. Our members have have access to these grounds from May to November.

Our PC program consists of weekly lessons with outstanding professionals in all disciplines. We have preps for rallies, ratings and hold camps for all levels to attend. We have unmounted lessons as well to teach the care of both horses and ponies.

The former Chagrin Valley Pony Club was re-established in late 2023 as Chagrin Valley Pony Club Riding Center, based at Chagrin Valley Farms Equestrian Center in Chagrin Falls, Ohio-northeast Ohio’s premier show facility.

Our mission is to create the ideal environment for Pony Club students and families to grow and thrive through training, education, and a strong community of horsemen and horsewomen of all ages. Our Pony Club program consists of weekly mounted and unmounted lessons taught by our in-house riding and horsemanship instructors and on-site trainers, and we regularly invite visiting instructors and clinicians from the local, regional, and national levels.

We are proud to host several of the Tri-State region’s Pony Club rallies each year, in addition to our regular show schedule of USEF “A” shows, schooling shows, dressage, mini-trials, and other events. We aim to schedule special field trips or clinics for our students at least once per quarter.
